According to sources, these five ladies might not be like those close friends who are always together in social circles.
They were said to be a more “informal but highly active group of influential figures.” Their extended elite circle also includes Gayle King, Tyler Perry, and Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland. One insider claimed that the duchess’s friends have always been “incredibly busy.” “But if one of them needs something, advice, funding, a contact, they show up. That is how power works at that level,” they added.
