Meghan Markle’s rumored autobiography was framed as more than a private writing project. A new claim said the Duchess of Sussex kept years of notes. It also cited voice memos and reflections around her royal exit.
The alleged memoir was tied to a wider Hollywood support system. Insiders claimed the project could become a major publishing and streaming event. Global rollout plans were reportedly discussed quietly. This is reportedly a strategy, not red-carpet access.
Meghan Markle ‘has been documenting everything since before Megxit’ for autobiography, per source
As per the Daily Mail report, the project sat behind Meghan’s current power alignment. The report named Oprah Winfrey, Mellody Hobson, Shonda Rhimes, and Nicole Avant as key figures. It also said the wider circle included Tyler Perry, Gayle King, and Doria Ragland. One source said, “They are all incredibly busy.” The insider added, “they are not sitting having brunch every week.” That same source said they show up for “advice, funding, a contact.”
However, the memoir claim became an important part of the report. A publishing insider cited “Voice notes on her phone at 1 am.” They also mentioned “Written journals” and “Structured reflections.” The insider added, “She has been documenting everything since before Megxit.” The report said that material could become a multi-platform event. That would place her book near Prince Harry’s “Spare” in scale. Separately, one source said, “She doesn’t want to be on the poster.” Another added, “She wants to be in the writers’ room.”
Meanwhile, the report said Avant had encouraged private Netflix-linked rollout chats. Avant is the daughter of music executive Clarence Avant and a former US ambassador to the Bahamas, and is married to Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix. A source said Meghan wanted the book to be “a record-setter and a reset.” Another insider said, “She does not want it to be a book of grievances.” They added, “She wants it to reflect where she is going.” The same quote continued, “not just where she has been.” However, timing was described as delicate. The report linked the pause to Harry’s attempts to stabilize relations with King Charles.
