Summer House alum Hannah Berner‘s lower back is finally starting to recover from her travel-packed past few years. “I’ve literally been on tour since 2020, so I’m liking this break,” she quips.
In addition to her comedy shows, Hannah co-hosts the Giggly Squad podcast alongside longtime friend Paige DeSorbo. The pair have also written a book, How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously. Not only did they tour nationwide promoting the book, but they recently made a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Life has been busy since leaving Summer House in 2021, following the conclusion of Season 5.
The former Summer House star found comedy to be a “blessing”

In April, Hannah finished her 70-show, during which Hulu was filming her shows. Titled “Hannah Berner: None of My Business,” the comedy special will air June 5 on Hulu, according to Variety.
“I’m so proud of the special — I can’t wait for people to see it,” Hannah says. “It feels like you’ve been painting something for a long time. I don’t know why I’m using paint as an example, but the masterpiece is finally dotted, and I’m ready to show it to the world.”
Hannah previously starred in We Ride at Dawn, which premiered on Netflix on July 9, 2024. In her second showcase, Hannah delves into her unusual career path, uncertainty about her future, dating secrets and more.
After losing her job on Summer House, Hannah enjoyed the change of being on stage as a comedian. “It was healing for me to … connect with people, as opposed to just being online or being on a TV show,” she said. “I’ve just gained a ton of confidence on stage, and as a comedian.”
In addition to feeling healed from the stress of reality TV, Hannah adds, “Stand-up made me just feel so myself … I was authentically being myself, and it made me want my voice to be heard … I have stuff to say.”
