In case you weren’t able to book a European vacation this summer, we can all live vicariously through Paige DeSorbo. She and her boyfriend Joe D’Amelio have been seeing the sights and enjoying all the delicious food in Italy. And along the way, they’ve sparked some rumors about a possible engagement.
So where did fans possibly get the idea that Paige and Joe were engaged?

Apparently, a source posted on DeuxMoi’s IG (now deleted) that the Summer House alum and her beau got engaged in Italy. Then Paige’s Giggly Squad podcast co-host Hannah Berner added fuel to the fire. She posted a screenshot on her IG Stories of Paige with hand to mouth, seemingly near tears of happiness. And then there were Paige’s own IG photos of her Italian adventure, many of which suspiciously exclude her left hand.
While the evidence might seem irrefutable, there are also clues to the contrary. On close inspection of Paige’s vacation photos, there are several shots of bananas, electrolyte drinks and antidiarrheal remedies. There’s even a snap of Paige lying in bed with an IV bag hanging above her head.
In fact, Paige shared the story of consuming undercooked meatballs on a recent episode of Giggly Squad. That would not only explain the presence of all the meds, but it would pretty much kill any romantic vibe.
Furthermore, @BravoHistorian posted on their Instagram Stories, “Ok I’ve heard from a VERY reliable source, Paige is NOT engaged.”
After first mentioning her new guy in January, Paige described her relationship with Joe as “really fun,” “very relaxing” and relatively private. “Obviously, I’m in charge of my own decisions and stuff [now],” she said. “So it’s nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don’t [with] personal stuff.”
Engagement or not, Paige and Joe’s exclusive relationship appears to be ticking along like clockwork.
