The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has given viewers a dynamic cast, plenty of scandal, and some jaw-dropping storylines. One of the most prominent involves Rulla Nehme Pontarelli and her husband, Brian Pontarelli, who had a mistress. Most of the cast believed this affair had continued, especially Jo-Ellen Tiberi.

Rulla was open about her feelings. “In this case, certain things were brought to light, and I’ve navigated them as best as possible … I’m on top of things,” she said. “So Jo-Ellen doesn’t need to be.”
Of course, Jo-Ellen tried to show Rulla text messages from Brian’s mistress, but Rulla didn’t believe her. In the mid-season trailer, it seemed like Jo-Ellen had more proof, which she showed to some of the RHORI cast. Meanwhile, friend of the cast, Dolores Catania, called Jo-Ellen the show’s villain. “She could be charismatic, like any serial killer,” Dolores stated. “You don’t even know.” Wow.
Recently, Jo-Ellen revealed that she has video proof of Brian’s infidelity. “He’s caught beyond red-handed, it’s irrefutable proof,” Jo-Ellen said on US Weekly’s Getting Real with the Housewives podcast. “Some of it’s being a ‘girl’s girl,’ and some of it’s just, like, vindicating myself. I’m sick of being told that I’m lying.”
She continued, “I don’t think that’s fair. You’re coming for my character when you should be coming for your husband with a baseball bat.” Yikes!
Still, Jo-Ellen is waiting for an apology from Rulla. “I think I’m owed one. She kept on saying that I’m lying. That’s not true. This isn’t AI, I was trying to be a good person,” Jo-Ellen explained. “She chose to go on the Housewives, knowing what was happening. That’s not a me thing. Did you think we weren’t gonna talk about it?” the RHORI star added. “It’s happening under your nose.”
