Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. While many are elated with the news, an expert believes that the princess’ mother, Sarah Ferguson, “will find it hard” to keep a distance from her grandbaby amid the scandal that has forced her to keep a low profile.
Sarah Ferguson ‘will find it very hard’ to keep distance from Princess Eugenie’s new baby, claims expert
Princess Eugenie recently shared that she is expecting to welcome her third child this summer with husband Jack Brooksbank. Their elder kids, August, 5, and Ernest, 2, are “also very excited to have another sibling join the family.” The Instagram post further stated that “His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
With this happy news, an expert believes Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, who has been keeping a low profile amid the scandal, will find it difficult to stay away from her newborn grandchild. “This baby will be born into very different family dynamics to those experienced by his or her older siblings,” HELLO! Magazine‘s royal editor Emily Nash said, adding that while the grandparents have spent time with the older siblings, “they are likely to keep more of a distance this time around.”
Nash even thinks that Ferguson “will find it very hard to stay away from a new grandchild.” Nevertheless, the expert believes the “wonderful” and “joyful” news of the princess will give the “whole royal family something positive to focus on after a tough few months.” When Ferguson became a grandmother in 2021, with Eugenie welcoming her first son, August, she opened up about her bonding with her grandson, telling the outlet that the baby is “phenomenal” and ”a very strong little chap.”
Other than being a grandmother of Eugenie’s kids, she also plays the same role to her daughter, Princess Beatrice’s children. Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzialso are parents to Sienna and Athena. She is also stepmother to Mozzialso’s child, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.
