Just one episode into Bravo’s new series In The City, cast member Kenny Martin is already teasing fallout tied to one of the network’s messiest recent scandals. Although the spinoff just premiered, much of the drama still connects back to Summer House stars Amanda Batula, West Wilson, Kyle Cooke, and Ciara Miller. While Amanda and Kyle are part of the In The City cast, West and Ciara are not.
Fans started calling the controversy “Scamanda” after Amanda and Kyle ended their four-year marriage. Rumors soon surfaced that Amanda had moved on with West, who previously dated Ciara. Amanda and West later confirmed the relationship in a joint statement, sparking backlash and nonstop fan discussion online.
Now, Kenny is sharing what happened once Bravo cameras picked back up.
Bravo cameras picked up after West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s romance statement

Kenny revealed to Us Weekly that In The City production resumed filming after Amanda and West publicly confirmed their romance. Kenny says he stayed mostly out of the middle of the drama but heard plenty about the emotional conversations that followed.
“I was not a part of it, but cameras definitely pick back up.” Kenny added, “I wasn’t super involved in those conversations. I heard that they were very intense and very heavy.”
Even though Kenny has spoken with Amanda since the scandal broke, he said his main concern has been Kyle.
“Kyle’s my boy,” Kenny said. “My priority and focus was just making sure that Kyle was and is OK.”
The Bravo newcomer also hinted that Kyle may now be rethinking certain moments from his marriage.
“In my conversations with Kyle — and again, he’s been super respectful — but I do think he has some tea leaves that may have given him a bit of a sense. Maybe in hindsight much more of a sense,” Kenny continued.
He also hinted there could be much more discussion ahead once the cast sits down together again.
“I hope some of those things are discussed in their reunion,” Kenny said. “I understand he’s trying to be protective, but also, I feel like looking back for him, there’s definitely some things that he’s like, ‘Huh, that makes a lot of sense now.’ So, we’ll see.”
Season 1 of In The City continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo, with episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock. Part 1 of the Summer House reunion airs Tuesday, May 26 at 8/7c on Bravo and hits Peacock the next day.
