Danny Booko Posts Statement After The Valley Backlash Over His Behavior

Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez were counting on having a fun weekend together in San Diego. They brought the nanny along, and expectations were high that that they could cut loose. But The Valley cast trip took a turn when Danny Darko made an appearance.

A beauty pageant for the fellows seemingly brought out some sort of competitive feelings in Danny. And the way Danny spoke to his wife made the others uncomfortable, especially Lala Kent. Heck, the viewers couldn’t take it either. And the backlash is immense. Danny is easily becoming the villain of Season 3.

Danny took to Instagram Stories to address the backlash. And more importantly, to publicly apologize to Nia. He began the statement, “To the person I love the most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry.”

Danny continued, “Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of.”

This week’s episode showed a furthering of frustrations as Nia tried to explain her point of view. She got resistance from Danny, who got defensive the conversation.

“A short fuse, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should have never taken any of it out on you,” the actor acknowledged.

Danny cancelled his scheduled appearance on Watch What Happens Live this week. He and Nia explained that it had to do with a work commitment.

“Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself in a different lens,” Danny continued his statement. “I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments.”

He concluded, “Nia, I love you so much. I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day.”

The following morning, the couple were able to sit down and have a productive conversation. Perhaps it’s a moment of reflection that can be a learning experience.
