Michelle Obama Reveals the One Reality Show She Would Join

Michelle Obama wouldn’t mind being a part of the reality TV world. The former First Lady says she’s an extremely loyal and straightforward person but would be open to appearing on one show that has its share of deceit.

Among the programs not on her radar to be a part of would be any Real Housewives shows. The mother of two admits that she would not be able to handle all the drama and cattiness that comes with that. However, competing on another well-known program with plenty of celebrities from all realms may be more up her alley.

The former First Lady spoke about reality TV

Competing in a murder-mystery style show seems to appeal to the former First Lady. In an interview with Hunter Harris & Peyton Dix on the Lemme Say This podcast, Michelle admits that she’s “thought about Traitors.” As for what role she’d like to be on the show, “I think I would want to be a ‘faithful,” shared Michelle. If ever selected, Michelle says that she wants to be the one to “find the ‘traitor.”

Michelle enjoys watching her share of reality programs. She’s previously said that she uses some of those programs to “educate” her husband, former President Barack Obama, about the subject matter. In a podcast interview with Craig Robinson last year, she said that Barack and the kids often give her flak about watching reality shows.

She has previously compared reality TV to a “sociological study,” like sports. For her, the drama that comes in sports is on par with what we see on reality shows. From the heated exchanges players in both worlds have to the huge stakes, Michelle sees many parallels between the two.

Last August, Michelle admitted to being a huge fan of the show Next Gen NYC. The second season of that series will debut later this month. Season 4 of the US version of The Traitors concluded in February.
