The distance between them hasn’t changed how TJ Palma and Iris Kendall feel about each other. The two met on Season 7 of Love Island USA, where TJ was dumped on Day 24, and Iris finished in fourth place.
TJ has a home base in Tampa, while Iris is in Los Angeles. Although it’s quite the journey for the pair, it’s one they’re both happy to make. TJ is in a new partnership with Garnier as part of the company’s Fructus Curl Moose campaign.
He recently took time to discuss his relationship with Iris.
The reality TV couple remain in a “loving” relationship
They may not be together all the time, but TJ and Iris are making it work. Speaking to OK!, TJ assures everyone that they remain “in a loving relationship.” According to him, the overlap between work goals and their relationship has been good for them. He says that it’s enabled them to work together more often.
TJ had never been to Los Angeles before Season 7 of Love Island USA concluded. Nowadays, though, “I’m there every other week staying with Iris, and she comes to Tampa all the time too,” says TJ. Both reality stars travelling frequently has become a part of their routine since the show ended. It helps that much of TJ’s work occurs in LA.
Even though they both lead busy lives, it doesn’t stop them from spending quality time together. “We just got back from Italy,” TJ shared in his interview. He called it a very important and special moment because, according to him, at the end of the day, “your relationship is your relationship.”
He adds that adjusting to life since leaving the Villa has been tough, especially with the endless online commentary about him. Among the things he took heat for last year was following the controversial figure the world knows as Andrew Tate. Andrew has faced multiple investigations, including charges of human trafficking and rape.
