The chef appeared in a delivery app advert saying, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home,” following which he laughed and threw World Cup tickets on his coffee table, next to a pile of unopened letters. He joked, saying, “It’s a long story”.
The family feud started when Brooklyn shared a series of allegations on social media against his famous parents. Among the claims, Brooklyn said that his parents had controlled the narrative and that their brand is performative, without any real family relationship. He also expressed that his parents had tried to ruin his relationship with his wife and actress Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022 in a lavish affair.
The online reaction to the new DoorDash ad has not been favourable, with fans commenting on how Brooklyn is a nobody without his parents.
One user said, “You seem to have no issue benefiting from the Beckham name, but speaking to your little sister is apparently too much, huh?” and another said, “No hate, just observation….if you hate them so much, drop the name and stop profiting from association.” A third one put it succinctly, “He hates them so much, but uses them for relevance. So bizarre.”
