Nicola recently revealed a small ankle tattoo reading “Elijah,” according to the Daily Mail. She displayed the fine-line design in a close-up image but did not identify Elijah or explain why she chose the name.
That missing context matters. The tattoo could mark a private friendship, family connection or personal memory, and Nicola has not suggested that it carries a message for her in-laws. The timing, rather than anything she said, has driven the feud speculation.
Brooklyn’s recent tattoo changes have been much more closely tied to the family fallout. Earlier this year, he reportedly altered the anchor tattoo that once featured the word “Dad” in honor of Sir David Beckham. A source claimed Brooklyn underwent laser treatment because he “wanted it gone.”
He also reportedly covered a chest tattoo dedicated to Victoria Beckham. Later photos appeared to show that the names of his siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham, had been obscured with a cloud design.
Those changes followed Brooklyn’s public statement about his parents. He said he did not want to reconcile with his family and accused them of trying to damage his relationship with Nicola. His parents have not publicly responded to every allegation in that statement.
The contrast has attracted attention because Brooklyn still has numerous tattoos devoted to his wife. One prominent piece reproduces a note Nicola wrote before their 2022 wedding, while other designs include her name and portrait.
The couple’s distance from the Beckhams has remained visible beyond body art. Brooklyn and Nicola were absent from Harper’s 15th birthday dinner, adding another family occasion to the growing list of missed events.
Nicola’s “Elijah” tattoo may eventually receive a simple personal explanation. Until she provides one, connecting it directly to the Beckham family feud would go beyond the available facts.
