Danny Booko was still dealing with his emotions following his co-star Janet Caperna’s controversial comment about him. Season 2 of The Valley focused on Danny’s drinking and subsequent bad behavior. And the actor has continued to navigate the fallout from Janet’s words.
Janet Caperna made huge allegations against her co-star last season

Reportedly, a drunken Danny touched co-star Jasmine Goode’s thigh and told her “to go get daddy a drink.” And during a cast trip to Hawaii, Janet claimed that Danny sexually assaulted Jasmine. This led to Danny and his wife, Nia Sanchez, putting Janet and her husband, Jason Caperna, on ice.
Janet tried repeatedly during Season 3 to make amends with Nia, but to no avail. She even apologized for using that phrase. However, in Danny and Nia’s opinion, the damage was done.
During The Valley Season 3 Episode 13, Lala Kent continued her quest to try to make peace between Danny and Janet. In fact, she even went as far as suggesting that Danny just forget about Janet’s remark.
“There’s some things where you can burn a bridge. And another where you blow up a bridge,” Danny explained. “It was one of the hardest summers of my life. My name was attached to words that I would never in my entire life think they would be. And that was because of her.” He added, “And I do have PTSD and trauma from having that be a situation.”
In addition, Danny admitted in his confessional that he isn’t done healing from the experience. “What was traumatic, very traumatic for me, from last summer, was the character defamation. I have a career. I have four kids,” Danny noted. He stated that he was seeing his therapist weekly to cope with the situation. Danny added, “I was very angry, and there’s still a wound there that’s not healed.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
