Jon and Summer shared a joint statement announcing their divorce on July 3. They said they made the decision very carefully, and promise to take care of their children together with love and respect. They also thanked their fans for supporting them in their tough time.
Soon after the announcement, Jon Pardi shared that he will step away from social media for now. He wants to focus on himself and his family during this transition but also confirmed that he will perform the scheduled concerts. However, Summer called her divorce a deeply difficult time for her family. She thanked her fans for their kindness and said will keep some parts for her life private in the coming days.
Court records show that Summer Pardi filed for divorce on May 12 in Tennessee. she listed May 11 as the date of separation and said they had irreconcilable differences. She requested the court for spousal support and also asked to become the primary residential parent.
Jon and Summer met in 2017 on a blind date arranged by their friends. They got engaged at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium in 2019 during Jon’s Heartache Medication Tour. Then the couple got married on November 21, 2020. They later welcomed daughters Presley in 2023, and Sienna in 2024.
