NFL player Stefon Diggs has been hit with another lawsuit by former consultant Nigel King. King alleges that Diggs falsely accused him of stealing his Ferrari and later had his associates attack him.
What court filings reveal about Stefon Diggs’ Ferrari dispute
Nigel detailed his involvement, saying that he worked as a consultant and concierge for Diggs. According to the lawsuit, things escalated after Diggs’s Ferrari was stolen while under King’s supervision in 2024. At the time, King had arranged for the Ferrari to be transported from Miami to New York. The car was allegedly stolen through a sophisticated scheme. Law enforcement did not charge or cite King in connection with the theft.
Following the theft, there were no signs of a rift between the two, and King allegedly continued working with Diggs professionally without any issues. However, according to the lawsuit, things changed when King learned that Diggs had allegedly been telling friends that King stole the Ferrari.
King further alleges that he was attacked by Diggs’s associates on multiple occasions, including an incident on December 4, 2025, at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Florida. According to the filing, one of Diggs’s friends punched him, causing him to bleed. King also claims he suffered permanent injuries. He further alleges that the theft accusations damaged his reputation and caused him to lose clients.
According to TMZ, Diggs asked the court to pause the case until the remaining defendants were served. He argued that he would not be able to adequately defend himself unless the other parties were before the court. Reports indicate that the remaining defendants were served last month, and the case is ongoing.
In the meantime, Diggs is also facing another lawsuit filed by Christopher Griffith, who alleges that the NFL player sexually assaulted him in 2023. Diggs has denied the allegations.
