Dr. Terry Dubrow isn’t happy with Vicki Gunvalson’s claim that he and his wife, Heather Dubrow, inherited their fortune.
To recap, the OG of the Real Housewives of Orange County caused chaos in the Season 20 premiere with an allegation that Terry and Heather inherited their money from his brother, rather than earning it through hard work. In the episode, Heather firmly shut this down.
Now, Terry has waded in as well, propositioning Vicki with a $100K bet that he can prove where his money came from…
Heather Dubrow’s husband Terry isn’t happy with Vicki Gunvalson
In an interview with TMZ, Terry reacted to Vicki’s claim that he and Heather inherited their fortune from his late brother, Quiet Riot frontman Kevin Dubrow.
“I can’t figure out why she would do that,” the Botched surgeon said of Vicki’s suggestion. “First of all, where does she get her information? Why is it so important to her?”
Terry went on to acknowledge that Vicki has “worked hard” all of her life. And that she is “proud” of the wealth she’s built up. “I’ve done the same,” he insisted.
After reiterating that he “didn’t inherit a dime” from his brother, Terry challenged Vicki to “put her money where her mouth is.” He bet her $100K that he could prove “beyond a shadow of a doubt” that he didn’t inherit his wealth.
Later in the interview, Terry theorized why Vicki might have started this feud. “Does it make her feel better to try and diminish us?” he asked.
Ultimately, Terry said the situation “upsets” him. That’s because he prides himself on having worked hard and achieved so much from doing so. “I’ve worked my butt off to get where I am,” he repeated, adding that he doesn’t think Vicki will actually take him up on the bet as she just finds it “fun” to “spread rumors.”
