When Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy of Next Gen NYC split last October, they broke the hearts of so many fans (I know, I was one of them!). But perhaps absence was just needed to make the heart grow fonder. The pair found their way back to each other, and it looks like things are going well so far.
The Next Gen NYC couple are “back together”
Ariana appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and he asked her where she and Hudson stand today after their breakup. He actually asked her backstage but wanted to take the conversation in front of the cameras too.
“I asked you backstage, so you are officially together,” Andy started. “It sounds like you’re… how would you describe it?”
To be fair, it doesn’t seem as simple as the relationship is back on. Ariana and Hudson appear to be approaching their reconnection with caution and care.
“I don’t know the best, like, wording for it,” Ariana admitted. “I mean, yes, we are together. But it’s kind of like, we’re still figuring it out. I don’t want to have the back and forth again. I just want to make sure we can both still grow independently.”
“Were you surprised by how territorial Hudson was as he set boundaries with Liam and others?” Andy followed up.
“I was because I felt like when we were together, he didn’t do that as much,” Ariana explained.
She added that in the first season Hudson seemed more chill, like when Charlie made a comment about Ariana and expressed interest in her, Hudson simply said, “Hey, don’t say that about my girl.” But now, he is coming in guns blazing. Hopefully, this isn’t something that could negatively impact their relationship.
And speaking of negatively impacting a relationship, Ariana confirmed that Hudson and Charlie are no longer pals today.
“Definitely not,” she said.
That sounds like something they’ll get into at the Next Gen NYC reunion.
