Frankie Grande had a visceral reaction when he saw Big Brother Season 28 contestant Kamu Kirk make some comments about dressing in drag on the show. In fact, he publicly said he wants the MMA fighter removed from the house. He called Kamu and Rick Devens out on what he perceived as ignorant behavior.

Frankie, who was also a Big Brother contestant, a singer and dancer, and Ariana Grande’s brother, took to X to share his thoughts on a conversation Kamu had with Survivor star and current surprise contestant Rick on the live feeds.
“Uhm. What the f*ck is this horses*t?! Get these homophobic bigots out of the f*cking house IMMEDIATELY. Both of them,” Frankie posted on X. He shared the clip of a conversation between Kamu and Rick talking about fellow housemate Drew Campbell.
“Ew, this conversation makes me sick to my stomach. I’m disgusted. This better be the biggest thing ever when I wake up tomorrow, or I’m flipping a table… f*ck. Ew Gross,” he finished.
In the clip, Kamu and Rick were talking about Drew wearing unicorn-themed pajamas.
“Are those dudes dressed in women’s clothes?” Kamu started in the clip. He explained Drew was wearing Mallory Aurichio’s extra unicorn pjs. Kamu revealed that they asked him to wear a third pair, but he refused.
“Not until doing that until Jason’s (De Puy) is HoH,” Rick laughed.
Kamu added that he was an MMA guy with an image to uphold. “Miss me with the drag stuff,” he said. Rick replied, “Yeah, that’s tough.”
Frankie came to Jason’s defense as they are both friends and members of the LGBTQI+ community. And while Frankie was initially outraged on behalf of Jason, he did end up walking back his criticism of Rick, saying there was not enough in the clip to understand Rick’s motivations.
“Regardless, men behaving repulsed or shocked when a man dresses in feminine or women’s clothing is homophobic,” he wrote in a subsequent X post.
