Earlier this year, Rodrigo Reyes of Southern Charm called out Shannon Beador of The Real Housewives of Orange County. According to Rodrigo, Shannon was rude when they crossed paths at BravoCon 2025. Now, Shannon is addressing those allegations by channeling her inner Mariah Carey, with just a little more openness.

Shannon appeared on Watch What Happens Live (funnily enough, the same show Rodrigo called her out on) and addressed his comments about Shannon talking badly about him and Salley Carson.
Andy Cohen asked Shannon what her reaction was to “Rodrigo saying that she was “very rude” to him at BravoCon.” The RHOC star quickly looked at her daughter, Sophie Beador, who was behind the bar in the Clubhouse, with a slightly confused expression.
“Can I say, and I apologize, Rodrigo,” Shannon began. “I don’t know who he is.” She said it with an extremely straight face. It was a fun throwback to Mariah (IYKYK!) When asked about her thoughts on Jennifer Lopez, the pop diva smiled and shook her head, saying, “I don’t know her.” It became a viral internet sensation. Perhaps Shannon’s version will be the next big meme!
However, Shannon also added a bit of an explanation to her response. “Sophie was with me at all times at BravoCon,” she said. “And I go, ‘Sweetie, who is this?’ She says, ‘Mom, we never saw him.’” Shannon’s daughter confirmed this statement.
Shannon asserted that she did not intentionally mean to hurt Rodrigo’s feelings. However, this wouldn’t be the first time someone called her out on bad behavior. Comedian Joel Kim Booster of Love Hotel previously posted a long rant about her, but he later retracted his statement.
For now, Shannon’s extending an olive branch (sort of). “Andy knows me. I’m nice to everyone, but I’m sorry, Rodrigo. We’re doing Fan Fest together. Let’s make up!”
Fans will have to wait and see if the two connect at the October 2026 fan event.
