Jeanine Pirro became a topic of discussion after she was seen exiting the White House with mysterious items after a meeting with Donald Trump. While there were rumors that Pirro might step down from her position, neither did she resign nor did she get fired, according to a report by The New York Times.
The items Pirro was seen carrying after the meeting were reportedly a black briefcase and a large white box. However, the contents of these items are still a mystery.
Pirro recently dropped charges against former Olympian David Hearn. He was previously accused by the Trump administration of vandalizing the Reflecting Pool. Pirro ruled that the problem in the reflecting pool was due to a fault in the contractors’ renovation. This prompted a critical reaction from the President, who slammed Pirro’s decision while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office.
According to a report by The Guardian, Trump told the reporters, “Frankly, I think she choked because the judge (DC Superior Court judge Todd Edelman) was really vicious. Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department, and I guess she choked.” The President further added that he felt “disappointed” with Pirro.
A reporter also asked Trump if he was considering firing her from her role. In his reply, He replied by calling out the journalist for showing “fake news.”
