Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott faced fresh legal trouble after a chaotic encounter with Michigan police. The 51-year-old former reality TV figure pleaded not guilty after officers responded to a reported suicide attempt.
Scott, also known as Kim Mathers, posted a $10,000 bond after the July 11 arrest.

According to The U.S. Sun, dispatch audio described a woman as “unconscious” inside the home. The dispatcher later said the “suicidal female” had locked herself inside a basement room.
Police reportedly found Scott there and said she became “irate and combative.” Officers also said she shouted, “get the f*** out of my house,” during their intervention.
Authorities said Scott resisted handcuffing and allegedly bit an officer’s forearm. A Taser was then deployed, while the officer also accused Scott of kicking his shin.
Scott reportedly had blood on her arm during the confrontation. The officer later went to a hospital after the alleged bite and blood exposure.
The U.S. Sun reported that Scott faced two felony charges from the confrontation. One charge carried up to four years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
The second charge carried up to two years in prison and a $2,000 fine. Scott pleaded not guilty to both charges, according to court filings.
Her next probable cause hearing was scheduled for September 3, 2026.
The case followed two earlier arrests involving suspected drunk driving. Police arrested Scott on February 16 after her Range Rover struck a Dodge Ram.
The collision reportedly pushed the truck nearly 50 feet. Officers described slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and alcohol odors.
They also found open and empty alcohol containers inside her vehicle. Scott pleaded no contest to operating while impaired and leaving the scene.
Three days later, police arrested her again after another alleged vehicle collision. A breathalyzer reportedly recorded a 0.20 blood alcohol concentration.
Scott later faced an OWI-third offense charge and missed scheduled court proceedings. Authorities issued two temporary bench warrants on June 24 before Scott turned herself in.
Scott and Eminem, whose real name was Marshall Mathers, married twice. They first married in 1999, divorced two years later, and remarried briefly in 2006.
Scott had also discussed addiction and depression publicly and completed rehabilitation in 2023.
