It was said that the Duchess of Sussex has turned down many opportunities to “speak to influential people.” This could allegedly impact her chances in Hollywood.
Markle had set foot in the entertainment industry once again with her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” Prior to that, she rose to fame with the popular drama, “Suits,” which she quit after getting married to Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle reportedly stepped down as working royal to make it big in Hollywood. However, she is said to be struggling with opportunities as the duchess doesn’t seemingly take all the chances. A source told Closer that her team seemed to have encouraged her to attend podcasts or speak to influential people. However, the mother of two has allegedly turned down such opportunities multiple times.
According to the insider, Markle seemingly let go of these chances because she believed the consequences might be the same. Reportedly, she would be “picked apart” for her every move and word. “It hurts bad enough as it is. If she goes on a podcast and bares her soul, all that will do is give this army that seems to be against her more ammunition, so it’s understandable that she’d be more than a little hesitant to do that,” they said.
However, her reluctance might impact her Hollywood dreams. The source claimed that industry power players would allegedly react badly to being turned down by her. “For a lot of them, when they can’t have something, they turn around and tear it down. That’s what she’s up against,” they added.
Meanwhile, Markle has achieved a milestone this year with her first Daytime Emmy nomination for “With Love, Meghan.”
