Donald Trump recently posted a new AI image on Truth Social referencing Joe Biden and the Keystone pipeline project.
The image depicts Trump pulling the Keystone pipeline out of the ground, where a tombstone is shown with the words “Buried by Biden” written on it. Another banner in the photo reads, “Keystone Pipeline. Completely Free. Energy, Jobs. America First.”
Trump made this post after announcing that the United States has decided to pause the 50 percent tariffs against Canada. He further hinted that the new deal might mean reviving the Keystone Pipeline project, which Biden shut down in January 2021. He wrote in a post on Truth Social, “I have paused the 50% Tariffs against Canada, that were scheduled to kick in tomorrow morning for a three day period, based on the fact that Canada and the U.S.A., subject to the finalization of documents, have a DEAL! The great Keystone XL Pipeline, long ago killed by Sleepy Joe Biden, may be awoken from the grave!”
The Keystone Pipeline project was halted in 2021 by TC Energy after direct orders from Biden. The project was stopped because environmentalists argued it would negatively affect the climate. At that time, Andy Black, the CEO of the Association of Oil Pipelines, called out Biden’s move and said, “Killing 10,000 jobs and taking $2.2 billion in payroll out of workers’ pockets is not what Americans need or want right now.” (via NPR)
