Media personality Megyn Kelly slammed Brian Hickerson, an on-and-off flame of Hayden Panettiere, for possibly contributing to the Nashville star’s death. In her latest monologue, Kelly dissected the turbulent relationship that Panettiere had with Hickerson, which even involved the latter abusing the late actress on several occasions.

During a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the titular host tore into Brian Hickerson, calling him “an absolute f*ing douchebag.” The journalist even alluded to Hayden Panettiere’s ex-partner as an “absolutely terrible person,” before calling him a loser at another point in the episode.
Talking about the role Hickerson may have played in Hayden Panettiere’s death, Kelly acknowledged that there were “no signs of trauma” and that “it doesn’t look like he beat her.” However, she did question whether Hickerson’s potential involvement in Panettiere’s drug consumption could be classified as abuse.
Kelly further questioned where Brian was at the time of his former partner’s passing. “As far as I can tell, he spent the last five years beating the s*t out of this woman,” the political commentator noted. “Absolutely no care whatsoever for her well-being. So what role, if any, did he play?”
She then narrated a domestic violence incident between the couple from Valentine’s Day in 2020. It was documented by Panettiere herself in her memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning.” Kelly also revealed that Panettiere had succeeded in securing a five-year restraining order against Hickerson shortly after the incident.
At another point in the show, Megyn Kelly berated Hickerson for mistreating Hayden Panettiere prior to her death. She stated, “You are an idiot. It’s obvious what a dolt you are.” She later described him as an “absolute fool,” going as far as to call him “retarded.” Kelly continued, “It’s egregious how dumb this man sounds. That she was spending any portion of her life with him because she was smart.”
At the time of writing, authorities have yet to determine the cause and manner of Hayden Panettiere’s death. While a possible criminal angle is being considered, the officials still await the toxicology results.
