Meghan Markle’s UK School Fears Resurface After Shocking Prince Harry Move

Meghan Markle once revealed that she was uncomfortable with the idea of sending her children to school in the UK due to concerns over their privacy. Her past comments have resurfaced amid reports that she and Prince Harry are planning to return to Britain for an extended period.

The Sussexes have also reportedly enrolled their children in a UK school, although details about their new home and the school have been kept strictly confidential.

Meghan Markle’s fears about UK school resurfaces

Meghan Markle’s past concerns about enrolling her children in a UK school have resurfaced amid reports of Prince Harry’s potential return to Britain. In a 2022 interview with The Cut, the former actress revealed that she could not fathom sending her children to school in the UK. The Duchess of Sussex pointed to the presence of paparazzi outside schools and intense media attention as major concerns.

She said: “Sorry, I have a problem with that. That doesn’t make me obsessed with privacy. That makes me a strong and good parent protecting my child from a royal press photo-call of 40 people.”

Meanwhile, a recent report suggested that Harry and Meghan may not be entirely on the same page when it comes to their children’s education. Archie and Lilibet have been raised in Montecito, California, since their parents stepped down as working royals in 2020. The “Suits” actress has previously spoken about the children attending different schools, likely because of their two-year age gap.

A source told Closer Online: “Harry can’t rule out a British education. He wants his children to have a meaningful connection to that side of their family. He’d prefer the kids to attend a mixed school, and has even explored the possibility of a day-pupil arrangement.”

However, Markle reportedly prefers for Archie and Lilibet to continue their education in the U.S. The insider explained the Duchess of Sussex’s perspective, stating: “Culturally, LA is where Meghan feels comfortable. She never took to the stuffiness of England. It’s hard to imagine her agreeing to uproot the life she’s built in California.”
