Sarah Ferguson has handled plenty over the years, yet the focus on her right now hits her much harder.
Recent stories about her money troubles, shifting royal dynamics, and fading access to long-time perks tied to her ex, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and the controversies surrounding him add even more pressure. His eviction and title removal have pushed Sarah into another uncertain chapter.
The situation reportedly leaves her feeling embarrassed and unsure as she tries to regain her footing.
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly “shaken to the core”

Fox News reported that royal expert Helena Chard believes Sarah feels destabilized by Andrew’s downfall. Helena said the ex-Duchess of York worries her long-standing safety net is slipping away. She noted that Sarah “is leaning on trusted staff members” while she navigates a tense period.
Helena added that “Her nerves are frayed. She is shaken to the core by the loss of her royal safety net. She fears further humiliation and worries that the serious allegations will affect her girls’ standing.”
Sarah lived with Andrew at Royal Lodge for many years, even after their 1996 divorce. His removal from the property has forced a sudden, unwelcome change.
King Charles evicted Andrew from Royal Lodge last month because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew will now move to Sandringham. Sarah, however, must determine where she will live next. One insider said, “The King’s focus is on sorting out Andrew’s future, not Sarah’s. If she ends up living with him, that’s their decision, but it’s obvious she’s no longer considered part of the royal fold.”
Friends now believe Sarah feels shut out of the social scenes she once dominated. A close pal told OK!, “She’s been totally sidelined. Sarah used to light up every room – she was warm, funny, and full of charm – but now the invitations have stopped coming. It’s really affected her. She’s putting on a brave face, but deep down she feels isolated and left behind.”
Another insider said old contacts have grown distant. “There’s this feeling she’s become someone to avoid. No one wants to be seen with her, and that kind of rejection has really worn her down.”
