More details have emerged about Julia Lemigova and Lisa Hochstein’s airport fight, and it’s really starting to sound like a setup. The Real Housewives of Miami stars both admitted to having an argument following their flight home from BravoCon. Now, new insight suggests that a certain Housewife premeditated the whole thing in an effort to keep her mojito safe.
Julia Lemigova reportedly kept “screaming at” Lisa Hochstein
The drama between Lisa and Julia went down on Monday, November 17, as the RHOM cast arrived home from Las Vegas. According to witnesses who spoke to Radar Online, besties Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola were both present when it happened. That’s a red flag in itself.
“Lisa waved hello at Alexia, and then went to grab her last bag,” the source recalled. “All of a sudden, Julia marched over to her and goes, ‘You’re speaking badly about me in the press.”
The insider said that Julia started “pointing her finger in Lisa’s face and yelling.” Supposedly, this was all happening while she was saying that she “didn’t want to make a scene.” Lisa tried distancing herself from Julia, but allegedly, Julia continued “screaming” at her. This all happened right at the baggage claim.
“Things got so heated, Lisa’s friend put his suitcase out, and a driver who was there to take Lisa home also intervened to keep Julia away from her,” a witness said. “At that point, Lisa had had enough and screamed at Julia to ‘get the f*ck away’ from her and was also heard saying ‘f*ck you.'”
Here’s where things get weird. According to Lisa, Julia pitched the story to Page Six in an effort to “stay relevant.” In their reporting, Julia provided a quote saying she tried to “keep things calm” with her castmate. However, multiple sources suggest that’s not what happened.
Another source spoke to Radar and echoed the sentiment that Julia may have premeditated the fight. Allegedly, after the blow-up, she walked over to her PR and the other RHOM cast members. She started “trying to spin a story” about an unhinged Lisa.
“After the crazy situation occurred, it definitely seemed like a setup,” the source recalled.
“Lisa was mortified by the situation and wouldn’t have gone to the press with it,” they continued. “But once it appeared there, it seemed even more like a cry for attention.”
The source added, “There have been rumors Julia may not be returning next season to the show, and it definitely seemed like she was trying to cause a scene to get some attention and hopefully have conflict to return to the show with. It was truly crazy.”
