Comedian Kathy Griffin expressed her unhappiness at Bravo exec Andy Cohen’s revelation of their private emails. The exchange occurred during BravoCon 2025.
Kathy and Andy have been on the outs since 2017. It began when Andy replaced the former reality show star as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve special. In the years following, Kathy accused Andy of several indiscretions, including offering her drugs before appearing on his show, Watch What Happens Live.
Kathy Griffin says she wishes she “were back at Bravo” despite “difficult boss” Andy Cohen

At the BravoCon convention in early November, Andy told attendees that he and Kathy were emailing. He said it was possible they would make up after their estrangement, saying “never say never.”
Kathy responded that she was shocked to receive the email. During her Los Angeles stand-up show, she said, “Andy Cohen was my boss at Bravo, and he was, in my opinion, a difficult boss.” “I really tried to do a good job at Bravo, and I had a great time there. I kind of helped build the channel.”
She said the email, the first from Andy in eight years, arrived around 10 p.m. She described it as “sort of nice.” Although Kathy classified the email as “civil,” she added that it didn’t contain an apology. Still, she admitted responding quickly in an emotional way. “I thought, ‘I don’t really need to be in any more beefs. I’ve been in so many f*cking beefs with so many people.’”
After admitting that Andy is “a powerful guy,” she admitted wanting to be back in the Bravo family. “It was a fun place to work, and it was a great place to do specials and all that stuff.”
When Kathy heard Andy mention their emails at the convention, her first thought was, “Hold on, girl. You emailed me for the first time in eight years after f*cking doing me dirty and taking my job [as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve special] and firing me from Bravo, but OK.”
Even though Kathy wants to bury their beef, she admitted Andy disclosing their private conversation was hurtful. When asked if the two would make up, she said, “Let’s go with ‘maybe.’”
