Dallas CowboysGeorge Pickens appears to have taken a swipe at Chiefs’ star Patrick Mahomeswife, Brittany Mahomes. Notably, the Chiefs will play the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday at the AT&T Stadium in a highly anticipated Thanksgiving game. Both teams are coming off major wins in the tournament. Pickens’ now-deleted Instagram story has stirred controversy ahead of the much-awaited match.

Cowboys’ George Pickens posts about Brittany Mahomes

It appears that Dallas Cowboys’ George Pickens has taken a swipe at Patrick Mahomes’ wife. He posted a picture of Brittany on his now-deleted Instagram story and wrote, “Tmrw we feast.”

However, Pickens’ post came across as unsavory and in bad taste. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) have criticized Pickens for his post about Patrick Mahomes’ wife. One shared a GIF of the infamous Will Smith–Chris Rock slapping incident. The user wrote, “Pat Tomorrow post game.” Another user commented, “Man… wives and children are off-limits. Don’t approve.”

A third user commented, “I’ll never understand using people’s wives as bait.” Another fan penned, “That’s messed up. Don’t be talking about anyone’s wife.”

However, Mahomes isn’t the only WAG who is being targeted for simply being associated with a Chiefs player. Previously, Broncos defensive back Jahdae Barron appeared to have taken a jab at Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, on his Instagram stories. On Wednesday, November 19, Barron wrote on his Instagram stories, “Tell Swift put me on a song RIGHT NOW.” The story featured Kelce and Barron in a candid moment from their match.

Barron reportedly deleted the post within a couple of hours, but the internet retained screenshots of his Instagram story. Swifties slammed him for dragging the “Opalite” singer’s name into the matter.

Interestingly, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones even invited Swift to the Thanksgiving special game. In an interview with 105.3 The Fan, he revealed, “No one is a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am. I can’t get enough of Taylor Swift.”

He even offered to host her for the Cowboys vs. Chiefs game. Jones shared, “We would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game… I appreciate buying through her Kansas City connection there, the kind of interest that she has brought to the NFL.”
