Southern Charm may focus on the male cast members. Despite that, fan favorite Molly O’Connell is not afraid to take on some drama. In a recent episode, she had no problem calling Salley Carson out for speaking about her drinking at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower.
Unfortunately, Salley is not the only person gossiping about the former America’s Next Top Model cast member. In a recent interview, Molly revealed the surprising warning she got about several Southern Charm co-stars.
Molly O’Connell was warned about Salley Carson and Venita Aspen
During an interview with Decider, Molly revealed that a mutual friend warned her that both Salley and Venita Aspen would be “coming for” her in Season 11. Just recently, the influencer dished on Molly’s vaginal rejuvenation surgery to her supposed bestie.
The interviewer referenced fan reaction to Salley “outing how drunk you were at the baby shower.” He asked Molly for her reaction. She answered, “I felt like she was coming for me unnecessarily.”
The miniature tuba player shared her side of the story on the matter. And she was “not expecting to fight with Salley this season.” Salley told Molly that “Venita told her to bring it up to Madison.” The motive for that sneak move is unclear to Molly.
A follow-up question about where she “stands with the two of them” post-filming had Molly admitting that she wondered “why Venita” is “telling Salley about your conversation.”
“Initially, I was like, ‘Do they want more screen time? Is this trying to start drama just for the attention?'” Molly explained. “Because I don’t feel like that’s the craziest thing to be drunk at a party. I’m friends with them. We’re fine. We’re on good terms. They come to my gigs that I’ve been singing recently.
“Venita has apologized for bringing certain things up. And Salley has as well. We’re on good terms. I don’t like fighting with anyone. I don’t like confrontation. It’s hard to be in this group and not be confronted by a lot of things. So, I think a lot of stuff wouldn’t come up if we weren’t on a show where we talk about everything to each other.”
