It looks like wedding planning is still in the cards for Alexis Bellino. Despite her own wedding being done, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum has just shared that her eldest son, James Bellino, is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend. Hopefully, his wedding is a lot less dramatic than Alexis’ nuptials.
James hired a crew for the proposal
Alexis officially married beau John Janssen last October. There were some folks who doubted the couple would ever make it down the aisle despite all the pre-wedding parties. But in the end, Johnny J made it across the finish line. And despite disinviting fellow Housewife Jennifer Pedranti, it went off without a hitch.
Now, she’s sharing that her eldest son, James, is now engaged. The proud mom shared the heartwarming news on Instagram through a slideshow reel of photos showing her 19-year-old son popping the question to his high school sweetheart Bella Luzi.
“And just like that, my first born is engaged!!!! 12/17/25…” Alexis captioned her post. “These two have been together since they were 15 years old. 5 years later, they’re engaged!!!”
The reel showcased Alexis helping James prepare for his romantic beach proposal, getting set up, and eventually popping the question amidst flowers and a beautiful sunset backdrop.
“James did it all,” the RHOC alum said. ‘From making the plan, to finding the location, to directing each of us, to hiring the crew. It was the most beautiful night. I could not have picked a better person for my son, nor wished for a better daughter-in-law. Our Brady bunch is forever growing. Welcome to the daily, sweet girl. We love you so much. What a beautiful Christmas gift.”
After the successful proposal, James and Bella were treated to a rooftop engagement party with friends and family. Alexis documented the celebration on Instagram. She shared the pretty floral centerpieces, engagement signage, and Bella’s stunning marquise-cut diamond engagement ring.
Looks like a happy holiday season indeed for this blended family.
