Travis Kelce Says ‘Something Was Off’ With Eagles

Travis Kelce weighed in on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ recent playoff exit, noting that something felt off with the team this season. The Chiefs’ tight end remarked on the game during a recent New Heights episode.

Travis Kelce comments on Philadelphia Eagles

Travis Kelce had some thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2025 season following the team’s disappointing playoff exit in the Wild Card round. In the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kansas Chiefs star reflected on the Eagles’ recent elimination, along with his older brother and former Eagles center, Jason Kelce.

“Very frustrating game and season for the Eagles,” Jason began, with Kelce adding, “You could tell everybody was frustrated in Philly, man.”

Travis Kelce went on to say, “There felt like there was something always eerie going on over there this year.” The star tight end added, “It was definitely not like that last year. Last year, it was Saquon, the excitement, and everybody celebrating in the endzone. Guys running down the field to celebrate with each other.”

The future Hall of Famer then addressed the Eagles’ recent defeat against the San Francisco 49ers. “It just felt like something was off about that Eagles team this year. And unfortunately, it came down to the last play against the Niners.”

Travis’s remarks come just days after Jason expressed his own frustration with the team following the January 12 game. Speaking on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, the former Eagles star stated, “They had the No. 1, highest-paid offense in the league and were mediocre across the board. That’s unacceptable.”

Jason called out the team for their inadequate performance, saying, “They had their chances to win that game yesterday, and the players didn’t make the plays! Alright? That’s all I’m going to leave it at.”

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a 23-29 loss against the 49ers on their home turf at Lincoln Financial Field. This led to the team losing its spot in the 2025 postseason playoffs.
