Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s split didn’t shock all Summer House fans. They had their issues as a couple. The Summer House Season 10 trailer revealed that Kyle’s endless partying resulted in him sleeping at a fan’s apartment. And there was speculation that Kyle and Amanda have been living seperately for several months prior.
Still, the news is a lot to process. The former couple have been in a relationship since 2016. Which is why Amanda’s participation in the “2016” social media trend was very telling. She notably chose not to include pictures of her spouse. More so, Kyle’s comment on the post, which hit a few days before the reality TV stars announced their separation, hinted at bitterness.

Kyle took the dig at his estranged wife on January 14. Amanda shared her 2016 pictures, participating with the viral trend. The Loverboy founder wrote, “I guess I was never in your camera roll.” Included was a laugh-crying emoji.
On January 19. the former Summer House couple announced their split in a joint statement to their Instagram Story.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing,” they wrote.
The Bravolebrities continued, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy at this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship. But your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
The announcement had fans scouring Kyle and Amanda’s social media for clues. “This didn’t age well,” one noted of Kyle’s comment.
The duo got engaged in 2018, despite Kyle having admitted to cheating shortly prior. They wed in September 2021 at Amanda’s parents’ New Jersey home.
