On January 19, Summer House couple Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula announced their separation. So what will happen with his Loverboy debt? While Kyle hopes they won’t get into a battle over finances, the future is still unclear at this point.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula “don’t really plan” on an expensive divorce
During a street interview, podcaster Adam Glyn asked if Kyle was worried that Amanda would “get some of [his] debt” in their split.
“I’ve seen a bunch of videos pop up, talking about divorce and the financial implications,” Kyle responded. “I don’t think a lot of people really understand the intricacies of my business to begin with. Is there debt? Yeah, I took a small business loan.”
Though he has “no idea” what the future holds, he and Amanda “don’t really plan” on an expensive divorce. Though they’re separated at the moment, nobody’s actually filed for divorce yet.
“I just hope that we both find happiness, whatever the heck that looks like,” Kyle concluded.
The couple announced their split on their respective social media accounts on January 19. Although nobody wants to see a marriage break up, the writing had been on the wall for some time.
Meanwhile, suspicions are that a messy divorce may lie ahead. In 2022, Kyle revealed in a Summer House episode that he owed $4 million due to money he borrowed to start his Loverboy business. He founded the business in 2018, marketing sparkling hard teas and premium canned cocktails.
Unfortunately, when they married in September 2021, the couple didn’t sign a prenup, which Amanda later admitted regretting. “I messed up major,” she said at the time.
Summer House Season 10 premieres February 3 at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
