Since announcing her engagement to longtime love Paulie Connell in November, Dolores Catania has had weddings on her mind. But how does the Real Housewives of New Jersey star envision her special day?
“Oh my God, you know, my dream wedding would be to have one actual big party,” she recently revealed. “It would be very special, a lot of intricate details … I would want it to be a reflection of him and I.”

“I would love a New Year’s Eve wedding,” The Traitors Season 3 winner told People. “Make it a big party, you know?”
As far as which New Year’s Eve, Dolores didn’t elaborate. Though she’s not in any hurry, she admitted she’s “not getting any younger.” She also wants her wedding to be on a “major holiday” so more people can attend.
And how many guests does she want at her big day? “We love so many people,” she added. “Like if I meet you, I would be like, ‘Come.’ I don’t even know where the list would stop.”
“I used to dream about getting married in a castle in Ireland,” she mused. “Maybe I could get married a few times to the same guy, you know, a few different weddings.” Why not? She wouldn’t be the first Housewife to enjoy multiple weddings.
Meanwhile, which of her castmates will be invited to her big day? “All of them. My whole cast,” she gushed. “I’ve spent 10 years with them … We’ve traveled the world together. We’ve cried, we’ve fought, we’ve loved together. No matter where we stand, I would want everybody there for my special day.”
At the time she and Paulie got engaged, he described his new fiancée as “one in a million.” And for her part, Dolo was over the moon.
“You know when you feel that happiness down in your gut?” she said. “That’s where this excitement stems from for me. I feel so blessed, I almost feel guilty! Like, I don’t deserve to be loved this way.”
I’m pretty sure Paulie would disagree with that.
