The First Lady has a message for those protesting in Minneapolis. There has been outrage over the conduct of the United States Border Patrol and ICE agents following the shooting deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good. Both were labelled as terrorists.
Melania Trump discussed the protests that have taken place in the wake of those tragedies. Her husband, Donald Trump, has taken heat from the public for those shootings. The First Lady is aiming to calm the backlash storm in Minneapolis.
The First Lady has asked for protests to be peaceful in Minneapolis
Melania is calling for protestors to keep things civil. On Tuesday’s edition of Fox & Friends, she says that Donald had a great call with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, along with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. The talks were around finding peace in the area.
The First Lady said that she’s “against violence” and “calling for unity” in the region. However, she didn’t address the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents her husband brought into the area.
On his Truth Social, Donald said that after talking to Tim, he felt as though the two were on the same wavelength. The DHS has rationalized the controversial killings by saying agents feared for their lives and were under attack.
Alex’s family has slammed the Trump administration’s effort to paint the slain nurse as a criminal. They accuse officials of fabricating a story against him. Joe Rogan, who endorsed Donald in the 2024 Presidential election, had a theory on the ICE shooting. The comedian feels that will be a distraction from something else.
Trump and his staff are taking heat for not releasing all the documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case. All that information was supposed to come out in December, but thousands of documents related to that case have yet to be made public.
