Meghan Markle ‘Struck a Nerve’ With Prince William Over This — Source

Fresh reports suggest tensions within the royal family may be resurfacing, this time over a rumored documentary connected to Princess Diana’s legacy. According to insiders, Prince William is said to be deeply uneasy about a proposed project being developed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. While details of the production remain unconfirmed publicly, sources claim the idea alone has reignited long-standing sensitivities between the brothers.

Prince William feels Meghan Markle is crossing a ‘personal boundary’ with this, says source

According to claims reported by RadarOnline, Prince Harry is believed to be exploring a documentary project marking the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in 2027 as part of his and Meghan Markle’s ongoing partnership with Netflix. Sources alleged the film would reflect on Diana’s life and the lasting impact her passing had on her sons.

While the project has not been officially announced, insiders claim Prince William has reacted strongly to the possibility. One source alleged that the Prince of Wales views the idea as deeply upsetting. The insider also claimed he believes the involvement of commercial production partners makes the project difficult for him to accept. They further alleged that Meghan Markle’s reported behind-the-scenes role is what has “struck a nerve” the most.

“He feels that allowing her to influence or derive any benefit from Diana’s legacy crosses a deeply personal boundary,” a source alleged. “He experiences it as a betrayal of his mother rather than a tribute.”

Another insider suggested Prince Harry remains committed to the idea. Harry is said to believe he has a personal connection to honoring his mother’s memory through storytelling. According to the source, this difference in perspective has placed the brothers at odds once again. William allegedly views the project as “deeply distasteful,” while Harry reportedly sees it as meaningful.

The reported disagreement is said to be particularly sensitive given the brothers’ shared history of honoring Diana together. In past years, they collaborated on tributes, including a documentary appearance in 2017 and the unveiling of a statue at Kensington Palace in 2021.

Now, sources claim William may be considering options to challenge or slow the project if it moves forward. A palace aide allegedly suggested he is prepared to explore available avenues should the documentary proceed.
