Travis Kelce celebrated Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” remix topping the iTunes charts just two days after its release, with a brief comment. His reaction came after Chris Lake, who collaborated with Swift on the remix, took to social media to announce the milestone. Before that, Swift referred to Kelce as her “in-house house guy” while reposting Lake’s message exchange with him, in which he praised the producer’s killer track.

Lake recently took to Instagram to announce that the “Opalite” remix has topped the iTunes charts. He further revealed, “I’ve also just uploaded my studio session putting the official @taylorswift ‘Opalite’ remix together on my YouTube.”
His post drew Swift’s and Kelce’s attention, who shared their thoughts on this major milestone. The NFL star wrote, “Immediately to the top of the charts!! bout to tune into the studio session right now!” His fiancée, however, expressed admiration for Lake’s work, as she wrote, “These videos make me as happy as your remix does – so excited the fans are loving it too!! Appreciate you!!”

Before Kelce’s comment, Swift shared a picture on her Instagram story of Lake and Kelce’s conversation from January 2026, with a caption, “Confirmed, Travis is my in-house house guy”. In it, Kelce seemed to show appreciation for Lake’s talent and how well his “Opalite” remix turned out. After listening to the remix that Lake sent, Kelce reacted, “Bro, how tf do you put shit together this fast, man? His next text read, “It’s so good, dawg. I’m gonna be rippin this shit every car ride.” He also revealed to Lake that Swift liked the music too, and her team would reach out to him soon.
Through screenshots of chats shared by Chris Lake, it was revealed that the music producer reached out to Kelce, saying he knew both Kelce and Taylor Swift had heard his tracks and that he would like to “take a crack” at remixing Swift’s song. At the time, Travis Kelce replied, expressing his appreciation for Lake’s talent and his excitement to see how the producer would creatively rework Taylor Swift’s song for the remix.
