Meghan Markle’s engagement ring caught attention during her Jordan trip with Prince Harry. Instead of her sparkling jewelry, the Duchess of Sussex opted for a simple gold ring on the two-day outing. The couple was invited to the Arab nation to learn about the humanitarian work by the World Health Organization (WHO) in that region. As per the report, the mother of two appeared in a minimal jewelry look for the philanthropic engagements.
Meghan Markle spotted wearing thin gold band on Jordan trip with Prince Harry
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently visited Jordan, where the duchess was pictured without her glitzy engagement ring. The World Health Organization’s (WHO) director-general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesu invited the Sussex couple to the region to show them the efforts being taken to make a better living. As the two continued their philanthropic work at a refugee camp, Markle was spotted with a different ring on her wedding finger.
Instead of flashy jewelry, the “Suits” alum went with a simple gold band, The Mirror reported. She allegedly left her jewelry at home and took only the thin gold ring and a Cartier Love Bracelet. Moreover, this was not the first time the 44-year-old was spotted with a different wedding ring. Earlier, she had tweaked the design several times.
In 2017, Harry proposed to her now-wife with a cushion-cut diamond ring. It featured stones and diamonds that added an emotional meaning to the couple. Markle upgraded the royal band in 2019 when her first kid, Prince Archie, was born. Later, in 2022, the As Ever founder added more diamonds to it. However, she reportedly chose to leave the luxurious item at home during her recent Jordan trip.
Meanwhile, Markle’s jewelry was in the news last week as well. She wore a new piece during her outing with Harry at the NBA All-Star Game. Reportedly, it was from her own collection and not something her husband gifted her.
