Will Smith Files Motion To Dismiss in Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Will Smith is fighting back against a sexual harassment lawsuit. The Academy Award-winning actor is asking a judge to dismiss the allegations in that case, calling it a mere shakedown for cash. The suit was filed last month, alleging that the Bad Boys star left a note in a violinist’s hotel room.

In the motion to strike, Will’s defense team calls the charges against their client inexplicable. The complainant alleges that Will was grooming him. Will’s attorney argues that this declaration is rather vague.

Financial motivation, Will believes, is the two words that have led to this lawsuit against him. The sexual harassment allegations filed by violinist Brian King Joseph claim that he found a note in his hotel room reading “Brian, I’ll be back…just us.” It was apparently signed by someone named Stone F. Brian says he has no idea who that is.

In addition to the note, Brian claims there were “wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork.” He adds that he was invited to join a tour featuring the acclaimed actor.

This is just one of the legal actions being taken against the Smith name. A former longtime acquaintance of his, Bilaal Salaam, claims that Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith threatened and harassed her. Will and Jade were said to be fuming about that lawsuit.

While Will’s team hopes the judge dismisses Brian’s lawsuit, they have a backup plan. They say that they are prepared to provide witnesses as proof that the violinist wasn’t invited to continue with the group. Will’s company, Treyball Studios, invited Brian to tour with them, according to the violinist.

According to reports, Brian’s behavior made everyone very uncomfortable. Will has not starred in any movies since the release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die in 2024.
