Bozoma Saint John has a message for all of her troll-shaped online friends. These messy goblins keep criticizing her fertility journey, which is currently playing out on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But that’s a judgmental hill to stand on, and Bozoma’s finally firing back.
Bozoma Saint John responds to her critics
From the start, Boz has spoken honestly on RHOBH. She has high hopes about one day conceiving a child with her fiancé, Keely Watson. But, so far, their IVF pilgrimage hasn’t been successful.
Cue the trolls hunched over their keyboards in her comments, talking about the high-risk nature of pregnancies for women in their late 40s. A smaller percentage of these fans are also trying to clock her journey as a fake storyline. So, when Boz recently spoke with US Weekly, she had a lot to say about these overly dedicated fans.
“In my comments, [there are] people who will say, ‘You’re too old. Why would you try this? Why would you harm your body this way? He’s using you to have a kid,’” Boz explained.
What the hell do you know? You have no idea what’s going on in my body or in my relationship,” she argued. Furthermore, these are important conversations to air, Boz stressed.
“When somebody’s talking about the difficulty of getting pregnant or losing babies along the way, it’s not something that we share publicly as a society,” Boz explained. “Everybody wants the happy ending. However, there are a lot of people who struggle with expanding their families.”
Meanwhile, Boz has the opportunity to shine a light on this topic, so that’s exactly what she’s doing on RHOBH, trolls be damned.
