An independent film distribution company based in America, Roadside Attractions, has acquired the documentary’s rights. People will now be able to watch the 91-minute-long documentary film in theaters exclusively over the summer. Moreover, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have acted as executive producers for the movie.

Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, recently received a massive boost after their documentary film, “Cookie Queens,” found a buyer. It has been acquired by Roadside Attractions, an independent movie distribution firm. The news came after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex parted ways with the global streaming platform, Netflix.
Markle and Harry’s documentary, “Cookie Queens,” captures the story of four Girl Scouts. In the movie, the audience will witness them trying to navigate the season of cookie-selling. It aims to give viewers a close look at ambition and teamwork.
Alysa Nahmias served as the director of the documentary. Archewell Productions by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, AJNA Films, and Beautiful Stories produced the movie in partnership.
Meanwhile, as reported by GB News, while attending a screening for the same in January, Meghan Markle revealed, “I was a Girl Scout, my mom was a troop leader.” The duchess continued, “And I think the value of friendship, of being dedicated to a goal, as you can see that in Cookie Queens.”
She further expressed, “It’s so reflective of how these girls stick with something that’s important to them and don’t give up.” The Duchess of Sussex also talked about “self-belief.” It is “an integral value that comes with being a Girl Scout,” she noted.
