Trigger Warning: This story contains allegations of sexual assault involving a minor.
Josh Duggar is still serving his prison sentence. And his brother Joseph Duggar may potentially join him if convicted for child molestation allegations. Joseph, of the famous 19 Kids and Counting reality TV show, was recently accused of child molestation. If he is found guilty, he could face a severe sentence.
Joseph Duggar’s wife has remained silent following the reports

It’s another terrible scandal for the beleaguered Duggar family. Joseph was accused of past sexual abuse from an incident that happened in 2020. The charges include lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older,
According to RadarOnline, the alleged crime happened in Florida, which has some of the strictest child molestation laws in the country. Presently, Joseph is awaiting extradition to Florida.
The victim shared several incidents that happened when she was 9 years old, allegedly involving Joseph. These incidents happened during a family vacation to Panama City Beach.
Information obtained from a local law group in Florida states that if the victim is less than 12 years of age and the offender is 18 or older, the crime is considered a “life felony.” And the consequences are potentially severe. If convicted, one can spend a minimum of 25 years to life in prison.
According to the law firm, the strict Florida child molestation laws are in place to “protect minors from being exploited by adults who prey on children for their own deviant sexual needs and wants.”
Joseph’s wife has, thus far, remained silent about the reports. That’s not surprising. Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, mostly kept silent as well after Josh’s arrest. She only recently showed her face again on social media.
