Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula had one of the most tense moments of the season when Kyle swore at her in front of the group. West Wilson was witness to it all go down and told Kyle to apologize to Amanda. However, he felt a bigger conversation was to be had. And that’s just what he did when he confronted Kyle over his treatment of Amanda.
Kyle’s treatment of his wife caused a stir on Summer House
It all went down the day before Kyle’s birthday party. Kyle was feeling left out of the equation and went and found Amanda hanging out with the group. He told her he didn’t feel supported and said, “F*ck you.”
Afterwards, West had told him to apologize to Amanda. He did, but when Amanda denied his claims that she was ignoring him, that set him off again. Kyle had told her, “You’re a f*cking dumbass b*tch.”
And this did not sit right with West. So, during Season 10, Episode 9, West confronted Kyle, along with Jesse Solomon, about it during his party.
West told Kyle, “I know that there’s a lot of layers and depth to your relationship. But this was the only time where I thought, objectively, you were being unnecessary … that cannot be the correct way for you to get sh*t off your chest, and that was bad.”
Kyle admitted he was “basically falling apart.” West said, “Tell her that though for starters. Say, ‘I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it. Like, I should not talk to you like that.’”
Kyle admitted, “If I can be honest, I get a little f*cking selfish when she has fun with everybody else other than me.” West told Kyle they had his back. He said, “I know you’re frustrated. We know you’re frustrated. We have your back and we’re your friend.”
West added, “Talk to us and we will talk to you. Just don’t take it out on Amanda. And like just say sorry for that, please.”
