It’s been a rough ride for the British royal family in recent years. So, it’s no big surprise that there’s plenty of chatter behind the palace walls about the “Sussexes problem.” However, insiders say that when it comes to reaching a truce with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince William and King Charles are struggling to get on the same page.
Could the Duke and Duchess of Sussex re-enter the royal fold?

The ongoing tension with the Sussexes isn’t exactly doing much for the royals’ image. But deciding how to approach the situation is apparently proving tricky.
An insider has revealed that William and Charles can’t agree on how to handle the awkward family dynamic (and it’s not the only thing the pair are said to disagree on). The source told OK!: “There is an increasingly noticeable contrast in the way William and Charles are handling ‘The Sussexes problem.’ William’s stance is understood to be much firmer and less flexible, whereas Charles appears more willing to leave space for some form of future reconciliation.”
Apparently, William is all about “accountability and consequences.” But Charles wants a more “measured” approach. The monarch is said to be worried about “escalating tensions further” (Spare: The Sequel perhaps?).
The insider added: “From William’s perspective, the so-called ‘Sussexes problem’ is rooted in a deep erosion of trust, one that has been compounded by the very public nature of the criticisms leveled at the family. That, in his view, makes any straightforward path back extremely difficult.”
Charles, meanwhile, is said to be more focused on balancing emotions with protecting the monarchy’s “stability and public image.”
Which let’s face it, it could do with a bit of a boost after its recent wave of scandals.
