RHOM’s Lisa Hochstein Turning Herself in at Miami Jail After Warrant for Arrest Was Issued

Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein has just turned herself in to local authorities down in Miami. Last month, allegations arose suggesting that she and her ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, illegally recorded Lenny Hochstein, Lisa’s ex-husband, back in 2023. Jody was already arrested and has since bonded out. But once the courts filed a warrant for her arrest, Lisa came to the decision to just turn herself in. Here’s what we know.

So much is happening down in the land of Mojito-holders. Yet, RHOM sadly remains paused. Ugh. As for the latest news, Lisa and Jody are currently facing matching criminal charges over in Miami-Dade County, resulting in one count of interception of wire, electronic, and oral communications each.

As court documents detailed, between March 12 and March 31, 2023, Lisa and Lenny’s divorce proceedings were well underway. Things were getting messy, so Lisa and Jody “unlawfully and intentionally” intercepted, attempted to intercept, or tried to arrange for someone to intercept “oral statements by Leonard Hochstein and those Leonard Hochstein spoke with.” Apparently, they hid “at least one” listening device in Lenny’s car, aimed to “access and monitor [Lenny’s] private, non-public communications involving this litigation.”

And now, after a warrant was filed for her arrest, Lisa has turned herself in to jail. Her attorney, Jayne Weintraub, told TMZ that her surrender was voluntary. It comes as part of a pre-arranged agreement that Lisa, who “has nothing to hide,” made.

Furthermore, this case “does not belong in criminal court,” her attorney argued. Instead, this case belongs within the Family Law division, since it stems from Lisa and Lenny’s contentious divorce battles. Nevertheless, for now, both Lisa and Jody are staring down federal charges in Miami.

The Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
