By now, you’ve probably seen Lisa Hochstein’s glamorous mug shot. What you probably didn’t know was just how much time it took her to get it.
The Real Housewives of Miami star turned herself in earlier this week after a felony warrant went out for her arrest. She’s been accused of planting a listening device in her ex-husband Lenny Hochstein’s car to spy on him during their divorce proceedings.
However, her time at the Miami jail wasn’t just a quick in-and-out. She had to spend a whole six hours behind bars, and supposedly, this went directly against a judge’s order.

When Lisa turned herself in, the assumption was that it would be a quick ordeal. According to TMZ, she and her legal team prearranged her surrender, and a judge ordered officials to process her through the system and then release her “without undue delay.”
Apparently, someone missed that memo because the RHOM star sat alone in a jail cell with no food for nearly six hours. What’s a girl supposed to do?
Insiders said that she arrived at the jail around 9:45 am on Wednesday, April 15. The cops booked her around 11 am, but then they didn’t release her until 5 pm. What they were doing that whole time remains a mystery, but either way, it’s a whole day wasted.
Fortunately for Lisa, after her six-hour stay in jail, she was greeted by a couple of her RHOM cast members. Hopefully, one of them brought her a snack after serving all of that time.
Before Lisa got booked, her ex-boyfriend Jody Glidden, navigated the same process. He got booked over the weekend, and they each face one felony count of intercepting wire, oral, or electronic communications.
In a joint statement, Lisa and Jody’s lawyers argued that the case doesn’t belong in criminal court. They’re going to fight the charges, and we’ll keep you updated as things progress.
