The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back! The newest season has kicked off, and despite new drama, old baggage is still haunting our ladies. It’s no secret that Angela Oakley and Phaedra Parks aren’t big fans of each other, and they got right into it during the new season premiere. Now Angela’s throwing more shade Phaedra’s way, calling out her propensity to, shall we say, embellish the truth?

The new season just started, and we’re already sat. Between new feuds and new faces and new relationships, there is enough leftover drama to keep the home fires burning. Some feuds, like those between Phaedra and Angela and Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams, just refuse to go quiet into the good night.
Angela touched on them recently when she visited Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen. Andy introduced her to a segment called Attack of the Shady Spiders and presented her with spiders that would “egg her with venomous questions.”
Some were pretty simple – like Angela revealing that Pinky Cole informed her she was filing for bankruptcy, so she wasn’t surprised at all, or who was a better singer K, Michelle or Drew Sidora (a tie according to Angela).
Some were more shady, like Angela revealing it would take an act of God for Shamea and Porsha to squash the beef. And of course, the most personal was if she had confronted Phaedra after Phaedra revealed that she didn’t have the security footage of the Atlanta Hawks game.
Angela laughed and said she didn’t. She then threw in a shady comment about Phaedra’s often questionable relationship with the truth. “Nah, let Phaedra lie in peace,” Angela laughed. “Let Phaedra lie!”
“The shade!” Andy replied.
RHOA is just beginning. Wonder what new things Angela and Phaedra get into over the season ahead.
