Kristin Cavallari on Spencer Pratt Running for LA Mayor and Brody Jenner Endorsing Him

Kristin Cavallari has shared her thoughts on her former co-star Spencer Pratt running for mayor, as well as her reaction to Brody Jenner endorsing him. The trio are former co-stars, having worked together on the hit MTV series The Hills, which ran from 2006 to 2010.

The former Laguna Beach star said Spencer Pratt “knows his stuff”

To recap, Spencer announced earlier this year that he is running for the mayor of Los Angeles. He made the reveal while speaking at a They Let Us Burn rally organised by residents who lost houses in the Palisades Fire. The rally took place on the anniversary of the wildfire that destroyed the home Spencer shared with his wife, Heidi Montag.

“I’m done waiting for someone to take real action. That’s why I am running for mayor,” he said at the event. “But let me be clear, this just isn’t a campaign. This is a mission, and we are going to expose the system.”

So, what does his former co-star, Kristin, make of all this? Well, despite often clashing with Spencer on The Hills, Kristin actually had a lot of positive comments about his run for city hall.

“I was shocked, like everybody else, at first,” she admitted on this week’s Watch What Happens Live. “But, if you actually listen to him, he knows his stuff.”

“He’s very well spoken,” Kristin added of Spencer’s talents, before turning her attention to Brody. “Of course, Brody is gonna endorse him, that’s his best friend.”

“And listen, unless you live in LA, it’s kind of hard to have an opinion. Like these people lost their homes, they lost everything,” she went on, highlighting Spencer’s reason for the bid. “I’m here for it, and I could honestly see him winning. People in California really are excited about him.”

To that, host Andy Cohen said it “kinda seems like he’s gonna win … he’s got a lot of momentum.”
