Hulk Hogan shared his thoughts on his friendship with Donald Trump in the final interview for his docuseries. As per Trump, who participated in the docuseries about his late friend, Hogan, they became friends after meeting in the ’80s and shared a commonality.

-Hogan revealed that he admired Trump’s work ethic, while the 79-year-old lavished praise on the late wrestler’s flamboyance, loyalty, and “their good chemistry.”

The President stated, “Wrestling is a mimicking of life. There’s a winner and a loser. But Hulk was really at the top of the game. The Hulk was always very controversial, and that’s OK. I’m fairly controversial. I think I’ve become less controversial over the years, but I’m fairly controversial, too (via USA Today).”

Hogan had previously revealed he avoided politics to avoid isolating his fans with his political views. The late wrestler quietly voted for his friend, Trump, in the 2016 and 2020 elections. He intended to do the same in 2024. However, when there was a shocking assassination attempt made on President Trump, Hogan could no longer keep quiet.

The late wrestling legend wholeheartedly endorsed Trump and even ripped his T-shirt off to reveal a Trump/Vance tee underneath. Hogan shared, “He’s my friend. A lot of people would say I’m completely crazy, but I know the person. I know him very well. I’m not saying I agree with everything he does, but at least he’s honest about who he is.”

Somewhere else in the docuseries, Hogan also discussed his excessive consumption of fentanyl in 2009. The late wrestler revealed his doctors were shocked and confessed that they had never seen anyone consume that much fentanyl. At the time, he was fighting in TNA while being in excruciating pain and was fresh off his divorce (via PEOPLE).
